Goal

RECOVER Upscaling Project main goal was the development and optimization of construction materials from metallurgical by-products. The scope of the Project was to build modular and mobile upscaling units, incorporating all equipment necessary in standard 20ft containers. These containers would be moved to various industrial sites to produce on site construction materials (e.g. thermal insulating building blocks, fire resistant tiles, cement-like binders etc.).

Our role

Tesmet group was responsible for the production of a mixture that meets the basic properties of inorganic polymer cement, regarding workability, setting and strength development, but with high resistance against fire, extremely low thermal conductivity, and refractoriness.
